Description
In this Q-commerce project, I designed a PWA for a supermarket, aimed at providing customers with a fast and convenient way to order groceries. The app featured a real-time connection to warehouses across the city, ensuring quick access to a wide range of products and enabling speedy delivery. My focus was on creating an intuitive user experience that simplified the shopping process, from browsing and selection to payment and order tracking. The result was a seamless and efficient service that enhanced customer satisfaction and improved the supermarket’s operational efficiency.

- Improving Search and Filtering: The first problem statement aims to enhance the search and filtering experience for users within the Q-commerce platform.
- Make the checkout process easier in the Q-commerce platform.
- Managing Order Tracking and Notifications: making it easier for customers to track their orders and receive updates in the Q-commerce platform. By improving real-time updates, push notifications, and proactive communication, we can make sure users know exactly what’s happening with their orders and have a better shopping experience.
- Another problem we’re tackling is how to make returns and refunds easier in the Q-commerce platform. By creating easy-to-use interfaces, clear policies, and efficient communication channels, we can make sure that users who want to return or get a refund for their purchases have an easier time doing so.. The process of handling returns and refunds is efficiently managed through the admin panel within the Q-commerce platform.
What we did
- We improved the search system to show the most relevant results based on what users are looking for. We also added auto-suggestions as users type, making the search faster and more accurate. We Collaborated with backend engineer to make these changes.
- Simplified the checkout process into clear steps, reducing form complexity. We offered multiple payment options (credit cards, digital wallets) and integrated trust signals (secure checkout badges).
- Introduced real-time order tracking with push notifications. Users receive updates on order status (processing, shipped, delivered).
